バルターの裁判を2週間後に控えたコロニアル・ワンでは、大統領のローラが各船の船長から5名の裁判官を抽選で選出。結果、アダマも裁判官の一人に選ばれる。そんな折、格納庫ではバルターの弁護士ヒューズを乗せたラプターが、何者かに仕掛けられた爆弾によって爆発。ヒューズはあえなく命を落とす。それにより、ローラはバルターの新たな弁護士にロモ・ランプキンを起用。アダマはリーをCAGから外し、ランプキンの警護にあたらせる。
