第14話「父として 兵士として」

生存者 41401人。

ギャラクティカの格納庫内に設けられた『ドッグズヴィル』と呼ばれる避難民キャンプの責任者となったヒロ。そんな彼の元へ、民間船テラ・シータ号から収まりきれない市民たちが、新たに回されてくる。その中にはサジタロン出身者たちの姿も。彼らには、現代医療を拒み、医師・薬を忌み嫌う慣習があり、周囲からも変り種として疎まれていた。一方、ドッグズヴィルでの医療を引き受けていた民間人医師ロバートは、サジタロンたちの間に発症して48時間以内に治療を受けなければ死に至る感染症『メロラック病』が広がっていることに気づく。
