ワシントンＤＣのサウスイーストで、裕福な二組の夫妻がホームパーティー中、突然押し入ってきた何者かに惨殺されるという事件が発生。サウスイーストは本来労働者が多く住むエリアだったが、再開発で高級住宅街に生まれ変わりつつある。その変化が軋轢を生んだのか、最近破壊行為が相次いでいた。
