実在のカリスマ・プロデューサー、ラリー・デイヴィッドの揉め事まみれの日常を自らが演じるユニークでシニカルなフェイク・ドキュメンタリー･コメディ。
ラリーは、ロサンゼルスのプロバスケットチーム、レイカーズの試合のチケットをもらい見に行く事に。ラリーはニューヨーク出身なので、本当はニューヨークのチーム、ニックスのファンだったが、そのチケットはコート脇最前列の特等席で、更にレイカーズのエース、シャキール・オニール（愛称シャック）が「サインフェルド」の大ファンと聞き、気をよくして見に行く事に。 試合に行くと特等席は素晴らしく、ラリーはリラックスして観戦。脚を伸ばして見ていると、シャックがその脚につまづき倒れてしまう。そしてシャックは全治 2ヵ月の大怪我に。
