実在のカリスマ・プロデューサー、ラリー・デイヴィッドの揉め事まみれの日常を自らが演じるユニークでシニカルなフェイク・ドキュメンタリー･コメディ。
ラリーは私立探偵のジョーンズから、ラリーが養子であると告げられる。実の両親は、素朴な田舎の老夫婦だった。両親がキリスト教徒であることにショックを受けつつも、ラリーは実の両親と楽しいひと時を過ごす。そしてラリーは両親に感化され、次第にキリスト教信者のようになっていく。さらにラリーは礼拝で神父の話に感銘を受け、 “友情”について考えを改めた。すっかり“善人”となったラリーはすぐにロスへ戻り、リチャードに腎臓をあげることにした。
