第3話「囚人ザレック」
Bastille Day / [シリーズ通算 #3]

生存者 47958人。

水のある衛星を見つけ歓びに湧いたギャラクティカのクルーたち。だが衛星の劣悪な環境により、水の採取は危険な作業になることが判明する。そこでリーは一計を案じ、船団のひとつ『アストラル・クイーン』で護送されている囚人約1500名に協力してもらうことを提案。了承を得たリーは、早速、ビリー、ディー、キャリーらの面々とアストラル・クイーンへ。そして囚人たちに協力を呼びかけるものの、皆、いち早く拒否した囚人トム・ザレックに倣い誰ひとりとして手を挙げようとはしない。彼は政府転覆を謀り、20年ほど前まで世を賑わせていた解放運動家でありテロリスト。囚人たちのまとめ役がそんな彼であると睨んだリーは、トムの独房へ行き直談判を始める。
