実在のカリスマ・プロデューサー、ラリー・デイヴィッドの揉め事まみれの日常を自らが演じるユニークでシニカルなフェイク・ドキュメンタリー･コメディ。
ニューヨークへ向かう飛行機の中、ラリーの席の隣にドナという魅力的な女性が座る。ラリーは機内でトイレの帰り、偶然靴ヒモで転び、客室乗務員に迷惑をかけていた酔っ払い乗客の上に倒れこむ。乗客の誰もがラリーが迷惑乗客を成敗したと勘違いし、ラリーを英雄扱いする、もちろんドナもラリーを見直し、二人はデートをする仲に。
