カーターはネイトという売人の逮捕をなぜか中止にする。その晩、不審に思ったチームがカーターを尾行すると、彼はネイトと会う。チームが目を離した瞬間、銃声が響き、駆けつけるとネイトが死んでいた。カーターは「皆は何も見なかったことにしろ」と言う。
