UCLA対スタンフォード大のアメフトの試合を控え、デヴォン達は応援ツアーを企画。一緒に行こうとチャックを誘うエリーだったが、辛い思い出の多い母校に彼は行きたがらない。だがそんな時、彼の大学時代の担当教授、フレミング失踪の情報がベックマン達からもたらされる。彼はCIA要員という別の顔も持っていたのだ。教え子だったチャックなら捜査の助けになるだろうと協力を求めるベックマン。しかし、まだ傷が癒え切れていないチャックは協力を断る。
