精神的なプレッシャーで拒食症になってしまったケリー。だが、学校のコンテストでケリーはミス・美人に、ディランはミスター・ハンサムに選ばれ一緒に写真をとれると喜ぶケリー。しかし記念写真撮影の当日、ケリーは読ませてほしいと頼んでも読ませてくれなかったディランの原稿をアンドレアが読んだと知り、自分が容姿だけの価値のない人間と感じて、ディランと口論し飛び出していってしまう。一方、コンテストで何も選ばれなかったスティーブはバスケットの試合を見に行き、そこで、ハーフタイムの1万ドルシュートのチャンスが与えられる。
