ダウンタウンのショウ高校でフットボールの試合中、高校生が2人射殺される。これをうけて、翌週のウエストビバリー高との試合は中止に。ブランドンはダウンタウンの実態を知り、学校新聞の社説で公表しようとするが、アンドレアに反対される。スペインから帰国する父親と会えるのを楽しみにしていたケリーはまたすっぽかされ落ち込む。
