「バック・ストーリー」というニュース番組がビバリーヒルズの高校生たちを取材しにやってくる。スティーブは以前母親がこの番組のヤリ玉にあげられたこともあり、取材を拒否。だが、ブレンダは「世間の偏見を覆すチャンスだ」と説得され取材に協力する。だが、出来上がった番組を見たスティーブとケリーはブレンダに絶交を言い渡す。
