サンディたちは学校から戻ったセスとライアンを外出禁止にするが、セスは窓から抜け出そうとするところを見つかり、ライアンは勉強しに来たリンジーとベッドでキスしているのをキルスティンに見られてしまう。ショックを受けたキルスティンは、セスたちを放っておけないから結婚記念日の旅行はやめると言い出す。記念日を忘れていた手前、何としても行こうとするサンディはアレックスに会いに行き、留守中セスの子守をして欲しいと頼む。だがキルスティンはサンディの放任主義的子育てを非難し、黙ってホテルをキャンセルしてしまう。
