ゲレロはドラッグ密輸組織を抜けるために逃走を図る幼なじみのジェリーの頼みで、アラバマ州に出向いて偽造パスポートを作る。ジェリーは、万が一の場合の命綱として密売に関するメモを記した手帳をゲレロに託して逃走。だがその直後に殺されて、死体と凶器の銃を買ったレシートがゲレロの車のトランクに仕込まれていたため、ゲレロは殺人容疑で逮捕されて刑務所に入れられてしまう。
