放浪中のアルファに、突然地球からの交信が飛び込んできた。新しいシステム、ニュートロン通信を使用してアルファを呼び出しているのだ。地球は今、西暦2120年。公害汚染で生物は住めなくなり、生き残った人類は人工都市を建設して生存していた。その人工都市のひとつ、テキサス・シティからの通信だった。
