トニーとプッシーは新しい偽造テレフォンカードの事業の成功を祝って、協力者とインド料理店で祝杯をあげる。カーメラにはクロテンのコートを買って贈り物にしてその夜は愛し合うのだが、トニーはインド料理があたって夜半から激しい嘔吐と下痢に悩まされ、奇妙に暗示的な悪夢を見続ける。その中で見たプッシーのFBIへの内通告白の夢を正夢とするトニーは、食あたりも治まった頃、シルヴィオを連れてプッシー宅を訪れ、口実をもうけて家捜しをし、葉巻箱の盗聴器を発見する。
