かつての有名モデル、クリスティーヌ・サンドラーが自宅で倒れているのを発見される。持病の発作が起きテーブルの角で頭を打った末、出血多量で死亡した事故だと思われた。だが血痕は彼女のものではないO型であり、彼女と血縁関係の人物の物だと分かる。血縁者は息子のダグラスと、施設で暮らす彼女の母親だけ。息子が容疑者として浮上したが…。
