シリーズ最高潮の盛り上がりとなるシーズン５では、セリーナはLAで、ブレアはNYでの生活からスタート。
セリーナは、映画の制作アシスタントとしてハリウッドへ。ネイトとチャックは一緒にバカンスに出かけ、ＬＡに滞在中。チャックは、ブレアからの結婚式の招待状を見てヤケを起こし、バイクで転倒。だがネイトたちには、ブレアのことは吹っ切れたと、平気なフリをする。一方、ブレアは婚約者ルイとのロイヤル・ウエディングの準備を進めていたが、ルイの母・ソフィーとの間でバトルが勃発！ルイが自分に味方してくれないことに不満を感じ…。そして気になる妊娠疑惑の真相は？
