「レイ・ドノヴァン ザ・フィクサー」の美少女スター、ケリス・ドーシーが、以前共演したブラット・ピットとの思い出を語っている。
ブラットと共演したのは、2011年の映画『マネーボール』。2005年には映画『ウォーク・ザ・ライン／君につづく道』で主演のホアキン・フェニックスの娘役、人気ドラマの「ブラザーズ&シスターズ」では全5シーズンに出演と、すでに子役としてキャリアを確立していたケリスにブラットが粋なプレゼントをしたという。
それはギター。『マネーボール』でケリスはギターの弾き語りをするシーンを演じているが、実際にそのシーンで演奏したギターをブラットが入手し、ケリスにプレゼントしてくれたのだとか。
さらにもう一つ。ケリスが成長を続けるにあたり、大切にしているのが当時ブラットから贈られたある言葉だ。
「今の自分を忘れるな」
成功した途端に自分を見失う、ハリウッドの若手スターを数えきれないほど見てきた、ブラット自身が常に心に留めている言葉。ケリスは、ブラットが「とても優しい心の持ち主。家族をすごく大切にしている」姿を間近で見てきた。そんなブラットの言葉だから、ケリスの心には沁み入ったのだ。
「レイ・ドノヴァン ザ・フィクサー」で、ケリスは主役のレイ（リーヴ・シュレイバー）の娘ブリジットを演じている。リーヴ、そしてレイの父親役でブラットの義父でもあるジョン・ヴォイトから、ケリスはどんなアドバイスを得ているのだろうか―。
