今シーズン、米4大ネットワークの中で最も多くの視聴者を集めて好調のNBCが、看板ドラマの「ブラックリスト」を始め、「GRIMM／グリム」「LAW & ORDER：性犯罪特捜班」「CHICAGO FIRE（原題）」 「CHICAGO P.D.（原題）」の新シーズン更新を発表した。
NBCにて今秋からの2015－2016期にシーズン３の放送が決定した「ブラックリスト」は、今シーズンの平均視聴者数が、1740万人（視聴率5.1％）。4大ネットワーク放送のスポーツなどを除く番組中、18－49歳層でナンバー2の好成績を収めている（第一位は「ビッグバン★セオリー ギークなボクらの恋愛法則」）。
また「ブラックリスト」は、DVR録画による視聴者の増加が最も多い番組でもある。オンエアから7日以内に録画視聴する人の数が、オンエア当日に視聴する人の数に比べて、毎回平均630万人も増加しているという。
NBCの金曜夜の顔に成長したダーク･サスペンス「GRIMM／グリム」は、2015－2016期にシーズン５を迎える。視聴者を集めにくいとされる金曜日で、今シーズンは毎回の平均視聴者数720万人（視聴率2.1％）。金曜日に放送中の4大ネットワークの番組の内、18－49歳層で最も数字を稼ぐ番組だ。「ブラックリスト」と同様に、「GRIMM／グリム」も毎回の高いDVR録画視聴率を誇っている。
残る３つのドラマ「LAW & ORDER：性犯罪特捜班」「CHICAGO FIRE（原題）」 「CHICAGO P.D.（原題）」は、全て「LAW & ORDER」シリーズを手掛ける、ベテランTVドラマクリエーターのディック・ウルフ製作。2015－2016期には、それぞれシーズン１７（LAW & ORDER：性犯罪特捜班）、シーズン４（CHICAGO FIRE（原題））、シーズン３（CHICAGO P.D.（原題））を迎える。3ドラマ内でしばしばクロスオーバーを行うのも特徴で、新旧の固定ファンを増やしている。
