米国のテレビ番組が、Facebook、ツイッターなどのソーシャルメディアを使ってファンサービスを行うことは珍しくない。その中で、米CBSは放送中の番組から、ファンにおすすめのソーシャルメディアの番組アカウントを発表している。
「ビッグバン★セオリー ギークなボクらの恋愛法則」ファンには、Facebookの番組アカウント（TheBigBangTheory）がおすすめ。イベントレポートやエピソードレビュー、さらには番組グッズなど情報もりだくさんで、「いいね！」数は約3370万を突破している。ツイッターでは、バーナデット役メリッサ・ローチのアカウント（@MelissaRauch）を紹介。他のキャストとのツイートのやり取りも楽しい。
「エレメンタリ― ホームズ＆ワトソン in NY」は、メディアミックス・ブログサービスのTumblr（タンブラー）を要チェック。主演のジョニー・リー・ミラー、ルーシー・リューのファッション情報が充実、番組の衣装担当によるアドバイスも気が利いている。また名言集やファンが描いたファンアート集まで、ビジュアル重視でさらっと読める手軽さも良い。
他には、ロバート・パトリック（「SCORPION」）の画像共有サ―ビス、インスタグラムのアカウント（ripfighter）も紹介されている。番組で見せる顔とは一味違う、プライベートの魅力が確認できそうだ。
