米でシーズン３が好評のうち終了した「GRIMM／グリム」。主演のデヴィッド・ジュントーリ（ニック・ブルクハルト役）と、ラッセル・ホーンズビー（ハンク・グリフィン役）が、次シーズンに向けたアイデアとして、大ヒット映画シリーズの主人公の名前を挙げている。
「GRIMM／グリム」は毎話、一般人に化けたヴェッセン（魔物）が巻き起こす犯罪を、グリム一族の末裔で刑事のニックが、相棒刑事ハンクたちの力を借り、解決してゆくダーク・ファンタジー。シーズン２以降では、グリムを取り巻く、謎の王家、秘密のコインなど、摩訶不思議なミソロジー（神話）展開により、ストーリーに深みが増している。
米での新シーズンに向け、デヴィッドは「犯罪解決の部分を少なくして、ミソロジーの部分が増えるといいなと思っている。特にヨーロッパのミソロジーがもっと扱えるといいね。僕らのファンは、謎の王家についてとても興味を持ってるみたいだから」
さらに、これまでの「GRIMM／グリム」で描かれてきた、ある隠された物を探し出す、秘宝探しのようなストーリーについては、デヴィッドも「インディアナ・ジョーンズみたいだよね。隠された何かを探し出すってストーリーは最高だよ」
大ヒット映画インディアナ・ジョーンズ・シリーズの主人公で、ハリソン・フォード演じる冒険好きな考古学者を自らのキャラに重ねるデヴィッド。これにラッセルも「じゃ、オレはショート・ラウンド（インディの助手キャラ）なのかな？」と悪ノリして応戦した。
デヴィッドとラッセルの“インディアナ・ジョーンズ”願望は、ほぼ100％叶うことはなさそうだが、この遊び心で、これからのシーズンも視聴者を楽しませてくれることだろう。
