◆ニーナ・ドブレフ、旅行中にツイッターで結婚宣言？ お相手は“トラの子”？？
「ヴァンパイア・ダイアリーズ」のエレナ役ニーナ・ドブレフと、共演者で恋人のイアン・サマーハルダーが、年末年始の休みを利用して、アジア各地を旅行した。ニーナにとっては、初めてのアジア、ツイッターにて各地で興奮の様子がつぶやかれており、二人の休日が気になるファンへのサービスも忘れていない。
しかし、そんなファンを仰天させたのが、暮れも迫った１２月３１日のつぶやき。なんと、ニーナがツイッターで「I'm getting married!!!!!!!! 」（結婚しまーす！）と突然の結婚宣言だ。ファンならば、“新郎イアン”を想像するのが当然だが、添付の写真には“トラの子”を抱きしめるニーナの姿が。なんのことはない、タイの観光地で出合った“トラの子”を気に入っただけ、ニーナ流のジョークだったらしい。
あ然としたのは、ファンだけでなく、イアンも同じ。あわてて「Wait?WTF!? 」（待てよ、何言ってんだ？）とリツイートしている。まったく人騒がせなニーナだが、こんなお茶目なジョークを飛ばせるのも、二人の絆が固い証拠なのだろう。
イアンのツイッターによれば、その後、日本に立ち寄り、米時間の１月６日ごろ、アメリカに帰国したもよう。アジアで気分をリフレッシュした二人、いよいよ「ヴァンパイア・ダイアリーズ」シーズン４後半の撮影が再開だ。
