ブレンダは早産ながらウィラを出産。身体機能が未発達なウィラはNICUに入る。納得してマヤを渡したものの、完全に１人になったルースはひどい虚無感にとらわれる。ジョージは涙に暮れ抜け殻のようになって過ごすルースを支える。荒れていたクレアはテッドの優しさで平静を取り戻す。そして…。
