第17話「叶えられた意思表示」

神経科医のフォードがプールで泳いでる最中に殺される。共同研究者のダリスとフォードが、口論していたのを目撃していたフォードの知人の警官の証言よりダリスが容疑者候補として浮上する。ゴーレンが捜査を進めると、ダリスとフォードが植物状態患者の尊厳死裁判の証人として反対の立場になっていたことが判明する。そこで、ゴーレン達はその裁判に関して捜査することにする。
