配達人のマイクは、ビタス石油のビルに入りエレベーターに乗る。中には男が乗っており、鼻血が出ていた。2人は同じ階で降りるのだが、男は降りてすぐに倒れる。マイクは心臓マッサージをするが、男は息絶える。一方、男と同じように鼻血が出てきたマイクは、ビルを出ようとするのだが、やってきたウォルターが、マイクの様子を見て何かに感染していると判断し、外からドアを押さえる。すでに現場に来ていたオリビアとピーターを残したまま、ビルは封鎖され……。
