「ブレイキング・バッド」で使用された小道具十数点が、米国を代表する博物館である、スミソニアン博物館（所在地ワシントンD.C.）群の一つ、国立アメリカ歴史博物館に寄贈された。同歴史博物館にて行われた寄贈式には、製作総指揮者のヴィンス・ギリガン、主演のブライアン・クランストン、アーロン・ポールらが出席、「ブレイキング・バッド」が権威あるスミソニアン博物館からアメリカ文化の一部と認められた瞬間に立ち会った。
式典を終えたアーロンは、自身のインスタグラムに「スミソニアン博物館に僕らの密造用スーツが飾られることになるなんて、もう信じられない気分だよ」と、その興奮を綴っている。
同歴史博物館には、密造用のラボスーツに加え、ウォルター（ブライアン・クランストン）の特製ドラッグであるブルー・メス、ウォルターの裏の顔ハイゼンベルグの帽子、ハンク（ディーン・ノリス）の麻薬取締局ID証など、併せて十数点が寄贈された。
今回の「ブレイキング・バッド」の小道具は、「アメリカ文化を探る」と題された新展示に出展されるもので、一般公開は2018年から。同展示には、他に「MAD MENマッドメン」、傑作シットコムシリーズ「All in the Family(原題)」、「素晴らしき日々」 、「となりのサインフェルド」の小道具も出展されるという。
