◆ブレイク・ライブリー愛用のルブタンが、“ガラスの靴”の製作を発表！
「ゴシップガール」のブレイク・ライブリーが普段から愛用する仏靴ブランド、クリスチャン・ルブタンが、また一人、新しい“プリンセス”のために靴を調達することが分かった。
そのプリンセスとは、なんとあの“シンデレラ”。世界で最も有名な“靴”の持ち主シンデレラ＆ルブタンとは、ブレイクもびっくりの完ぺきな組み合わせだ。このマッチングを行ったのは、米ディズニー社。この秋、同社から『シンデレラ』ブルーレイ版が、“ダイアモンド・エディション”として全米で発売されることになり、その記念としてルブタン氏がシンデレラのガラスの靴を現代風にデザインすることになったのだという。
これには、今年でブランドの節目となる２０周年を迎えるルブタン氏も発奮。「おとぎ話に自分も仲間入りできるなんて、誰にとっても夢のような話じゃありませんか。“シンデレラ”はおとぎ話の中だけではなく、靴の世界でも象徴のような存在ですからね。そのシンデレラのお手伝いができるんですから、とてもラッキーな気分です」と話している。
『シンデレラ』ブルーレイ版“ダイアモンド・エディション”の全米発売は、今年１０月。「ルブタン版ガラスの靴」については、７月にも詳細が発表される予定だ。
これまでルブタンの寵愛を一身に受けてきたブレイク、ちょっぴり主役の座を譲った気分かもしれないが、一方でブレイクが子どもの頃から筋金入りのディズニーランド好きとしても知られているのも事実。「ルブタン版シンデレラの靴」誕生を心待ちにしている一人であることは間違いだろう。
