ヒルダは弁護士リーアに弁護料の残りを渡そうとする。だが、ベティはジーナから、子供の養育権を争う裁判でリーアを雇ったが、弁護料を持ち逃げされた女性がいると聞かされ、その女性ドナと直接会ってリーアが悪徳弁護士であるという確信を抱く。ベティは、リーアにお金を渡そうとするヒルダに、事情を話して止めようとする。だがヒルダからは、「家族のヒーローの座を自分に奪われてやっかんでいる」と言われてしまう。
