スティーブはブランドンに、学校が優秀なバスケ選手を集めるために特待生制度を悪用していると教える。やがてブランドンは、ジェームズというアフリカ系の生徒が授業に出ていないのを怪しいと思い、アンドレアと調べ始める。一方、自分も車を運転したいブレンダは運転免許の取得をめざすが･･･。
